News to know

A juror in the trial of John Edwards said Friday that jurors believed the former presidential candidate was guilty, but they couldn’t prove it. "He was just smart enough to hide it, and we couldn't find the evidence," Cindy Aquaro said. Another juror echoed those comments. Edwards was cleared of one charge, and a mistrial was declared on the others on Thursday. Edwards could be retried, but no decision has been made yet.
