Jackson Trustees rename highway and maintenance center after Ralph Boger
JACKSON TWP. During the regular May 26 meeting, the Jackson Township Board of Trustees renamed the highway and maintenance center to the Ralph E. Boger Highway and Maintenance Center.
"Mr. Boger spent 37 years of his life in public service and did so much for this township that we wanted to honor his work,” said truste Todd Hawke.
All of the trustees said that the work Boger did for the township during those 37 years was exceptional.
• Accepted a donation of $1,500 from E. A. Mahoney Family Foundation for the soccer fields at Tam O’Shanter.
• Approved two noxious weed resolutions for 6158 Putney Court NW Lot 198 and 4835 East Blvd. NW Lot 41 in Lake Cable Section E.
• Paid bills in the amount of $756.768.
• Approved trash removal agreements with Republic Services.
