JACKSON TWP.  Jackson senior Noah Albright is the latest member of head coach Tim Budd’s team to commit to play college football.

Albright signed his letter of intent with the College of Wooster after a senior season in which he started at running back for the Polar Bears and rushed for 552 yards and eight touchdowns. As a three-year letter winner, he helped Jackson qualify for the playoffs twice and win a share of the Federal League championship in 2017.

He had some of his best games in the Polar Bears’ most important contests, running for 82 yards and two touchdowns against Canton McKinley, 99 yards and one touchdown against Central Catholic and 124 yards and three touchdowns against Hoover. Those performances helped him earn recognition as Honorable Mention Federal League selection for 2018.

Albright’s family and coaches joined him for his signing ceremony.
