• Coventry defeated Ellet in a non-league boys track meet as the 3,200 relay team of senior Dev Patel and sophomores Cameron Ray, Drew Dimeff and Dennis Charnes led off with a win, followed by wins from junior Damian Jackson in the 110 hurdles and senior Austin Hinzman in the long jump and high jump, along with running a leg on the winning 400 relay team.

• Ramiro Garza and Logan Langovsky each won their singles matches 6-0, 6-0 and Green earned a Northeast Ohio Tennis Association win over Kenton by a 4-1 score.

• Kaden Davis doubled and drove in three runs and Cam Martin had three singles for Lake as the Blue Streaks scored a 12-4 non-league baseball win over Ellet.

• Coventry lost to Field 6-0 in a Portage Trail Conference softball contest as senior J.J. Wilt, sophomore Miya Gotto, junior Stacey Arnold and sophomore Cassidy Karakis each had a hit for the Comets.

• Kobe Byler went 4-for-4 with three singles, a double, two RBI and two runs scored as Lake Center Christian earned a 9-5 win over Coventry in non-league action.

• Kelly Daugherty went 3-for-3 and Skylar Schaefer hit her second home run of the season as Grace Hammer pitched a shutout to lead Green to a 14-0 win over Canton McKinley in a Federal League softball game.

• Hunter Zacharyj was 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI for Lake and Cam Martin was 2-for-3 with two runs scored for the Blue Streaks, while Shea Simmer was 2-for-4 for Green with two RBI as Lake bested Green 11-3 in a Federal League baseball contest.

• Junior Brian Roscoe threw a complete game to lead Coventry to a 5-4 win over Springfield in Portage Trail Conference baseball action. Junior Liam Arnett led the Comets offensively with a hit and 2 RBI, while Roscoe added a hit and an RBI and seniors Adam White and Casey Simon each added hits.

• Michael Paljich threw five strong innings for Manchester, but a late rally by CVCA gave the Royals a 5-3 Principals Athletic Conference win over the Panthers.

• Coventry scored a 66-62 non-league girls track win as Ashley Martinez won the 100 and 300 hurdles, Rachel Fogg won the long jump and Morgan Ross added a high jump win for the Comets.

• Matthew Amison delivered a clutch single in the ninth inning to score the game-winning run for Green in a 5-4 non-league baseball win over Marlington.

• Avery Snyder had two goals and Maddie Mitchell tallied one for Lake in a 17-3 loss to Federal League rival Hoover in a girls lacrosse game.
