• Coventry scored its sixth straight softball win, 18-2 over Ravenna, as junior Stacey Arnold was 2-for-3 with a double, home run and 3 RBIs and sophomore Allie Akers was 2-for-3 with 5 RBIs.

• Former Manchester standout Chandler Stahl threw a scoreless inning of relief to help pace Malone to a 4-2 win over Tiffin in a non-league college baseball game as part of a nine-game winning streak for the Pioneers.

• Five batters collected multiple hits for Lake in an 8-0 win over Hoover in Federal League softball action. Lauren McMillin tallied a single, a home run and drove in two to lead Lake, while teammate Maggie Pertee added a two-run triple and a single and pitcher Jessica LeBeau held Hoover to just two hits in a complete-game win.

• Ramiro Garza swept his opponent 6-0, 6-0 at second singles to help pace Green to a 5-0 win over Hawken in a Northeast Ohio Tennis Association match.

• Erika Johnson (Springfield) had two hits and scored two runs as Malone banked an 8-0 win over Davis & Elkins in a non-league softball game.

• Jessie Spoerndle was third  in the high jump, Olivia Gang placed third in the 1,600, Carmen Sims took third in the 3,200 and Zoe Dellaserra was third in the long jump to help power Green to a fourth-place finish at the St. Thomas Aquinas Big Ox Invitational.

• Ashley Martinez won the 100 and 300 hurdles, sophomore Morgan Ross, senior Gracie Collins, freshman Carly Wightman and junior Libby Vanderark won the 4×200 relay, freshman Jessica Eubank won the 1,600 and 3,200, junior Rachael Fogg, Collins, Ross, and Martinez won the 4×100 relay, senior Mea’nah Witherspoon won the shot put, senior Savannah McGraw won the discus and Ross won the high jump and long jump as Coventry scored dual meet wins over Manchester and Lake Center Christian School in girls track.

• New Franklin resident Nate Stahl hit three home runs for Walsh Jesuit in a non-league baseball win over Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy.

• Senior Nolland Almestica, sophomore Cameron Ray, sophomore Drew Dimeff, and sophomore Dennis Charnes won the 4×800 relay, junior Damian Jackson won the 110 hurdles, junior Malik Shaver won the 100 and 300 hurdles, senior Austin Hinzman won the shot put and high jump and junior Carson Karakis won the long jump as Coventry claimed dual meet wins over Manchester and Lake Center Christian School in boys track.

• Malone University junior Olga Branney (Green HS) was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference's Women's Field Athlete of the Week after winning high jump competition at the University of Mount Union's John Homon Open with an NCAA Division II National Championship provisional qualifying height of 5' 8". The performance marked a new personal best for Branney, tied the G-MAC all-time record and was just a half inch shy of Theresa Dyer's 1988 Malone record of 5' 8.5".

• Logan Starcher threw a 110-pitch complete game, singled twice, scored a run and drove in another run to propel Lake Center Christian to a 9-6 win over Mogadore in Portage Trail Conference baseball action.
