JACKSON TWP. Zach Beaulieu, a multi-dimensional threat for the Jackson football team the past three seasons, will stay close to home as he continues his college career at Walsh University.

Beaulieu was a three-year letterwinnter who led the Federal League in catches this past season and ends his high school career with 92 catches for 1,197 yards and 14 touchdowns. He also rushed for 192 yards and averaged 21.1 yards per return as a kickoff returner during his three years on the varsity level.

With Beaulieu and his fellow seniors helping lead the way, Jackson ended its league title drought by claiming a share of the title last fall and also made its second straight playoff appearance. For his efforts, Beaulieu was named honorable mention Northeast Inland District and All-Federal League Second Team.

He was joined for his signing by his family and Jackson head coach Tim Budd. Walsh is an NCAA Division II program competing in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.
