NEW FRANKLIN  Manchester senior Andrew McFadden is the latest member of the school’s baseball program to commit to continue his career at the college level, signing his letter of intent with Earlham College.

McFadden, who earned his third varsity letter on the diamond this spring and was also a member of the football program during his Manchester career, is a career .390 hitter and has scored over 80 runs while playing for the Panthers.

He follows in the footsteps of past Manchester players such as Chandler Stahl (Malone) and Pavin Parks (Seminole State College), among others, who have played college baseball in recent years. Teammate Dalton Earich has committed to Youngstown State and the two have played a big part in the program’s recent success. McFadden was joined for his signing by his family, as well as Manchester baseball coaches Bob Graham and Bryan Snyder.
