Accomplishments: Hinzman is 21-5 on the season and placed third at the North Coast Classic and second at the Tri-State Border War meet.

Name: Zach Page
Grade: Junior
Sport: Basketball

Accomplishments: Page hit a 3-pointer to win the game in back-to-back contests for the Tigers in the span of a few days. On Tuesday, he hit a 3-pointer from the top of the lane in the closing seconds to defeat Mogadore, 69-68, on the Wildcats' home court and ended the night with 11 points. On Friday, with 2.9 seconds remaining, he scored his only three points of the game on a three from the left wing to give the Tigers a 53-52 victory over Garrettsville. 

Coach's comment: "As a coach, it is so rewarding to see a player improve and gain self confidence on and off of the court. Zach has done both over the last two plus weeks. You can see it in his eyes, he is having fun playing a game he loves." - Head coach Philip Budervic

Name: Jake White
Grade: Freshman
Sport: Wrestling

Accomplishments:  White has had a top-eight finish at the last three tournaments he has participated in and also won three dual matches.   

Coach's comment:  Jake is really doing well as a freshmen.  It's not an easy transition to varsity wrestling, but he has adapted well and is continuing to improve.” - Head coach Josh Cintron

Name: Alivia Senevoravong
Grade: Senior 
Sport: Basketball 

Accomplishments: Last week, in a 43-39 victory over Garfield, Senevoravong had 11 points, six rebounds, three steals and two assists to help propel the Spartans to their fourth win of the season.

Coach’s comment: “Alivia helped us bounce back from a tough loss against Ravenna the day before.  Her ball handling has helped us tremendously in pressure situations. She’s currently in second place with three charges taken in the Portage Trail Conference Metro and County divisions combined." - Head coach Kevin Pletcher
