JACKSON TWP.  Jackson High School will hold its annual youth volleyball camp June 6-9 in the main and auxiliary gyms at the school.

The camp consists of two sessions, one for players in fourth through sixth grades and the other for seventh through ninth grades. The session for younger players will run from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. daily, while the session for older players will run from noon to 3 p.m.

Campers will be grouped by age and playing ability, and will receive instruction in passing, setting, attacking, serving, defense and team strategy.

One week after volleyball camp, the school will host a youth boys basketball camp. The dates for the camp are June 13-16, and the camp is for players entering kindergarten through eighth grades this fall. The camp will take place at Strausser and Sauder elementary schools as well as all three gyms at the high school. Kindergarten, first and second grades will take place at Strausser, third-graders will be at Sauder and fourth grade and above will be at the high school. Times will vary based on site and age group.
