To Whom It May Concern:

Tuesday, March 17 is an important day for the Coventry Local School District. On this day, voters have a chance to do the right thing and support their schools. This is a renewal. It is no new money or increase in taxes. It will allow Coventry to keep the quality programs and excellent teachers and remain in good financial standing for the future.

As a teacher in the district for the past 25 years, I have seen firsthand the quality education our district works hard to provide. Music and athletic programs have reached new heights. Our graduation rate is high and we provide a safe and caring environment for our students. Superintendent Lisa Blough has worked with the Coventry Board of Education to decrease long-standing debt and manage open enrollment numbers. There is still work to do, but without this renewal the outcome will be drastic.

This renewal will ensure that our Comets will soar.

Support Issue 8. It’s the right thing to do for our kids, our community, and our future.
