On Saturday mornings around Ashland, there is always a place to go for breakfast. We all seem to enjoy eating out, particularly us older folks. Now, the first Saturday of the month we go to Savannah for the Lions’ breakfast. The second Saturday we go to Nankin Community Church for breakfast. Both of these places are really busy with lots of people enjoying breakfast and enjoying each other’s company. The third Saturday, Ashland Masonic Lodge at 331 W. 11th St. has a breakfast. It is delicious with sausage, eggs, pancakes or french toast, juice and coffee, by donation.

I just want the people of Ashland and surrounding towns to know that there is a place in Ashland to go for breakfast also. I call it the BBIT — Best Breakfast In Town. One of the reasons I like it so well is the Masons at the lodge are dressed so nicely. Most all are in lavender shirts and ties and have their sport coats on or with them. It is just a very nice place to go and I think you would all like it. It is at 31 W. 11th St.
