Parade of safety vehicles in the parking lot and C-130 transport aircraft buzz the skies over Canton to pay tribute to medical personnel.

CANTON The Youngstown Air Reserve Station’s 910th Airlift Wing will conducted a "flyover" of Mercy Medical Center at 11:30 a.m. Monday as a salute and thank you to the medical personnel and first responders at who are battling the coronavrius.

The flyover, known as "Hercs Over America,"consisted of two of the 910th’s C-130H Hercules aircraft.

The Monday morning flyovers started in Erie, Pa. at UPMC Hamot Primary proceeded to the Cleveland area visiting facilities there until heading south to fly over Akron Children’s Hospital and Cleveland Clinic Akron General before buzzing past Mercy. The C-130H aircrafts then looped around Canton and headed back east toward Youngstown for flyovers at St. Joseph Medical Center in Warren and St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown and Boardman.

In addition to the flyover in Canton, Stark County safety forces paraded through the Mercy Medical parking lot to pay tribute to front-line medical personnel.
