GREEN Residents are invited to provide input regarding programs, facilities and features they would like in Green parks during a community open house from 6 to 8 p.m. March 11 at City Council Chambers at the Central Administration Building, 1755 Town Park Blvd.


This hands-on family event will feature interactive stations giving participants various ways to voice opinions. Residents will have an opportunity to fill out a park’s survey, vote on facilities with play money, select a favorite program or event, interact with city staff, parks board members and consultants, and learn about current programs and activities.


This casual public workshop will help define the next step for Green’s parks and programs. Visitors are welcome to stop by for any length of time between to share thoughts and ideas. Light beverages and refreshments will be provided.


The Parks Master Plan is an interactive process evaluating the current state of and determining future needs of the parks system and programs for the next five to 10 years. Community suggestions and input will help guide the development of our parks and programs.
