Family fun day
The Cambridge Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association is hosting Family Fun Day from 4 p.m. until dark on Saturday, May 18. The event will take place at the Cambridge Biddy League football field, in the Cambridge City Park.
Activities include meeting local law enforcement officers, K-9 demonstrations and family-friendly activities including:
• bounce house, dunk tank, cotton candy and popcorn
• Toy Story characters
• raffles and 50/50 drawing
• face painting
Refreshments will be available. There is no fee for admission.

Students in middle and high school are needed to volunteer at Safety Town as teen instructors. Safety Town takes place June 10 - June 4, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Garfield Administration Center, formerly South Elementary. Those interested should call Marion Welch at 740-439-1582.
The Guernsey County Veterans Service Commission and Veterans Service Office will be closed on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday.
Due to the Memorial Day holiday, the next meeting of the Center Township Trustees will be Thursday, May 23, at 6 p.m., at the township garage on Arrowhead Rd.
