Participants will tour the museum to learn more about Casey’s life, the Capuchin order and the Catholic faith.

The St. Padre Pip Prayer Group, in association with St. Raphael Center, will host a June 7 day trip the Solanus Casey Center in Detroit.

The trip will include Mass in the chapel of the Solanus Casey Center, celebrated by the Rev. Nicholas Mancini, spiritual leader of the St. Padre Pio Prayer Group.

“St. Pio and Blessed Solanus Casey were both Capuchin priests that lived during the same time. I hope that our brothers and sisters in Christ will join us for this once-in-a-lifetime trip. Their lives are something that all Catholics should aspire to emulate,” Mancini said in a statement

Participants will tour the museum to learn more about Casey’s life, the Capuchin order and the Catholic faith.

The cost is  $65 per person, which includes transportation and guided tour. To make reservations, contact Deacon Dave Conversino of St. Joan of Arc Church at (330) 477-9706 by May 17.

The bus will depart at 7:30 a.m. from St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 3430 St. Michael Drive NW. On the return trip, the bus will make a dinner stop at Cracker Barrel, and is expected to return at 10 p.m.

The trip is non-refundable.
