A North Canton woman, 27, was charged Aug. 6 with disorderly conduct by fighting. Police said she was the primary aggressor in a physical altercation with another woman at a Fulton Drive bar.

Two coin-operated washing machines were reported stolen Aug. 6 from the laundry room of a Portage Street Northwest apartment complex.

A Massillon man, 39, was charged Aug. 5 with assault. He is accused of punching a man in the face repeatedly during a confrontation at his ex-girlfriend’s home on Raleigh Street Northwest. The victim was taken to a hospital for injuries.

A Canton man, 28, of Dueber Avenue, was arrested Aug. 4 on a fourth-degree felony count of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He was booked into the Stark County Jail.

On Aug. 3, a Revere Avenue man reported someone used his identity to open a cellphone account and racked up charges totaling $2,882.50.

A Canton woman, 39, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia Aug. 3 after police reported finding a crack pipe in her car while investigating a shoplifting incident at a Dressler Road store.

A $1,100 paint sprayer, cans of paint worth $250 and several boxes of flooring were reported stolen Aug. 3 from a home under construction in the 7500 block of Southbridge Cir. NW.

A Massillon man, 53, of Erie Avenue Northwest, was charged with domestic violence Aug. 3 after he allegedly pushed his girlfriend during an argument at their home. He was booked into the Stark County Jail.

A California woman reported two credit cards, $700 in cash and two other items were stolen from her purse while she was at a Dressler Road bar on Aug. 3.

A Massillon woman, 38, was charged Aug. 3 with obstructing official business. Police said she gave an officer her sister’s personal information during a traffic stop to conceal the fact of a warrant out on her. After her true identity was determined, she was arrested and turned over to Canton police.

A man walked out of a wireless store on Strip Avenue Northwest Aug. 3 with a $200 headphone set without paying, police said.

An employee at a jewelry store in the Belden Village Mall said someone used his credit card information to purchase a gold tennis bracelet from the store. Police were investigating.

On Aug. 2, a realtor reported a lockbox and key were stolen from the front door of a home in the 5500 block of Shadow Ridge Ave. NW. On the same day, a shower/tub set valued at $700 was reported stolen from a home under construction in the same block.

A homeless man, 22, was arrested Aug. 2 after police responded to a call of an unwanted person on Canterbury Street Northwest. Police said they found the man in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine and a glass pipe. He was charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.

An Arizona man, 61, was charged Aug. 2 with having physical control of a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Police said they found him asleep in a car on Fulton Drive with the keys in the ignition. On the same evening, a 30-year-old Massillon woman was charged with disorderly conduct by intoxication after police found her lying on the ground on Dressler Road.

On Aug. 1, a Canton woman told police she was stopped at a traffic light on Everhard Road when a man pulled up next to her. She looked over and noticed the man was pleasuring himself and didn’t have pants on.

A Canton man, 39, was charged Aug. 1 with theft and obstructing official business. Police said he ran from security employees after being confronted for shoplifting at an Everhard Road store. He was apprehended in a nearby parking lot and allegedly found with a backpack containing $122 in stolen items.

On July 30, a North Canton woman reported someone used her credit card information to purchase more than $1,200 worth of merchandise at a Strip Avenue Northwest home improvement store.

A Canton woman reported her 2011 Ford Fiesta was stolen while she was at a Hills and Dales Road bar on July 30.

A Massillon man, 35, of Lafayette Drive Northwest, was charged July 30 with domestic violence. Police said he choked his wife, pushed her into a dishwasher, and knocked her off a chair in the backyard. He was arrested and booked into the Stark County Jail.

A Canton woman called police after someone allegedly stole her wallet while she was at the Balloon Festival on Frank Avenue July 28. While checking her personal information, police found the woman had a warrant for failure to appear on a criminal trespassing charge. She was arrested and turned over to Canton police.

Police responded to two other incidents at the Balloon Festival on July 28. A Canton woman, 33, was arrested after she allegedly punched a woman in the face during an altercation. The victim was treated for a jaw injury. A Canton woman reported her wallet was stolen.
