A Massillon man, 51, was arrested July 9 on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, driving under suspension and having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. Police said the man stopped his car in front of a police cruiser on Fulton Drive where an officer was running radar. Several open cans of beer were found in the car.
Two wedding bands and other items, total value $1,500, were reported stolen July 8 from a home in the 7300 block of Braucher Street Northwest. The homeowner believes a juvenile watching the home took the items.
A Lasater Drive man, 30, was charged July 8 with possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said they found him in possession of two glass pipes, commonly used to smoke crack cocaine, during a traffic stop on Fulton Drive.

A Massillon woman, 32, of Andette Avenue Northeast, was booked into the Stark County Jail July 7 on a domestic violence charge. She is accused of throwing a toy tractor at the father of her child during a quarrel. The man suffered a minor laceration on his leg.
A Massillon man, 22, was jailed July 7 on charges of disorderly conduct and criminal trespass. Police said the man was thrown out of a Dressler Road bar for his turbulent behavior, but then snuck back inside a short time later.
On July 6, police responded to a loud altercation in the parking lot of a Sunset Strip Avenue motel. Two men were found in a heated argument, with one observed brandishing a hammer and a knife. Police later found the man with the weapons was also found with two other knives, a BB pistol and a pair of brass knuckles. Police charged the 25-year-old with inducing panic, disorderly conduct and carrying concealed weapons.
A Massillon man, 45, of Eastlynn Avenue Northwest, was booked into the Stark County Jail July 6 on a charge of felony domestic violence. Police said he slapped his girlfriend multiple times in the face, causing markings and an open wound.
Police responded to a call from a Sunset Strip Avenue motel July 6 after an employee reported a man was making racist remarks to customers. Officers determined the man was suffering from a mental disorder and allowed him to leave without further incident.
A Mariwood Avenue man reported July 6 that someone turned on the outside water faucet that eventually caused flooding in the basement.

A Canton woman, 50, was charged with theft July 5 after she was allegedly caught shoplifting at the Belden Village Mall. Police said she paid for some items and then afterward was seen putting additional items into the shopping bags and leaving without paying. The recovered merchandise totaled $228.

Police arrested a 37-year-old Canton woman on Fulton Drive July 5 on a warrant charging felony criminal trespass. She was booked into the Stark County Jail.
A High Mill Avenue woman reported seeing a man with a BB gun shoot a baby goose in a pond in her backyard. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources was notified of the incident and will be conducting an investigation.
Eight firearms, including an antique Colt .45, jewelry and $700 in cash were among the main items reported stolen July 4 from a home in the 9500 block of Hocking Street Northwest. A basement window was forced to open to gain entry.
