"You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown" will be presented at Theatre 8:15, 4740 Massillon Road. Performances will be held Fridays and Saturdays at 8:15 p.m. and Sundays at 2:15 p.m. March 2 to March 11. The Akron Art Museum is hosting fun classes for kids. From 10:30 a.m. to noon, is tots Create. Roll up your sleeves and enjoy creative time together using familiar, everyday materials. Art smock provided but dress for an inspirational mess. From 1 to 3 p.m., children ages 6 to 10 can participate in Kids Studio. The class encourages students to think deeper about contemporary art and the real artists making it. Students experiment with non-traditional materials and processes. Haefliger in Akron
Pianist Andreas Haefliger performs at EJ Thomas Hall at 7:30 p.m. March 8 as part of the Tuesday Musical program. Haefliger was born into a Swiss musical family and grew up in Germany, going on to study at the Juilliard School in New York. Engagements followed soon with major U.S. orchestras: the New York Philharmonic, Cleveland Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Boston Symphony, Pittsburgh, Chicago and the San Francisco Symphony orchestras among them.
