CANTON  The Women’s Board of Aultman Hospital recently hosted its seventh annual fashion show, "Angels on the Runway, Fashion for a Cause," at The Cultural Center for the Arts, led by co-chairs Judy Minton and Darlene Schuring. More than 280 guests were in attendance.

The evening of fashion, food, wine and fun began with shopping in a Paris vignette with the following vendors: Anastasiades, Carpe Diem, Charleston Shoe Co., eSBe, Expressions, Fishers Optical, Hoard Couture, Journey Studios, Laura of Pemboke, Liquid, Lizpots, Mainstream Boutique, Matilda Jane, Nha Khanh from Texas, Premier Jewelry, Rodan and Fields, The Shoppes at Aultman Hospital, Taylor & Tessier, Vita Boutique and Yurko Stitch.

In addition, a grand prize raffle took place for a chance to win a Chanel gift set including Chanel purse, perfume, pin and accessories valued at $5,000. The Angel raffle winner prize was $1,000 cash, and the Wine Pull raffle included a Simon G 18-karat white, yellow and rose gold pendant with diamonds valued at $2,650. The event raised approximately $50,000 to complete the Women’s Board $5 million pledge to the Aultman Cancer Center.

The runway show presentation featured fashions from Chico’s, Fishers Optical, Hoard Couture, Laura of Pemboke, Lingenfelter Brill, Mainstream Boutique, Matilda Jane, Nha Khanh, Stein Mart, Steve’s Tailoring and Men’s Wear and Vita Boutique. Original designs created by Cierra Jewel Waggoner of Prisms, Trista Grieder Fashion, Arianna Likouris, Gina Lytz and Casandra Casas Rojas from Kent State University School of Fashion were also shown.
