JACKSON TWP.  Federal agents and police from three departments arrested a Perry Township man wanted in connection with the robbery of a local credit union.

Township police, with assistance from the FBI, Perry Township and Canton police, arrested Glenn Schilling, 47, of the 3200 block of Hilton Street NW in Perry Township at 3:10 p.m. Thursday at his home, according to a news release from the Jackson Township Police Department.

Schilling is charged with the Sept. 28 robbery of St. Joseph's Credit Union.

The release said Jackson investigators used evidence located by K-9 Ruger and his handler, Officer Tim Rice. The information led to Schilling's arrest, the release shows.

He remained in the jail early Friday, held in lieu of $25,000 bond pending a Massillon Municipal Court hearing.
