Haunted hayride

Get spooked at the annual Jackson Township Haunted Hayride from 7 to 10 p.m. Oct. 21. All the spooking fun is at Jackson Township’s South Park where guests can take a wagon ride through scary scenes set up throughout. The event is free and open to the public. Some scenes may be frightening for the little ones. Refreshments available for purchase.

'Dracula ... The Ballet'

"Dracula …The Ballet" returns to haunt the Canton Palace Theatre stage at 7:30 p.m., Oct. 21 and 22. The Canton Ballet reprises its elegant and mesmerizing contemporary work. Guest artists Damien Highfield of Groundworks Dance Theatre will perform the role of Dracula. Tickets prices are $21-$25 for adults and $15-$17 for children under 18.

Fall Fest at Fieldcrest

Thousants of lit jack-o-laterns, hundreds of autum-licious treats and oodles of family friendly activities will take place Aug. 26-28 at Fieldcrest Estate, 1346 Easthill St. SE, in North Canton during the annual Fall Fest. Activities include a hay ride, hay climb and maze; face painting; a spook trail and haunted house; halloween-themed movies and music. Tickets can be purchased at the gate. Children under 4 are free.

'Boo-seum'

Halloween at the "Boo-seum" will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 27 at the McKinley Presidential Library and Museum in Canton. Go trick or treating at the Street of Shops and Discover World. There are hayrides, a scavenger hunt, science shows, Planetarium shorts, games and more. The Museum Café will also be open. To avoid ticket lines, call 330-455-7043 to pre-pay tickets. This is a fundraiser for the museum, 800 McKinley Monument Drive NW in Canton.

Charlie Brown to town

The Canton Players Guild's production of "You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown" will run from Oct. 27 to Nov. 12 at Player’s Guild Theatre, 1001 Market Ave. N. Spend some time in the life of that loveable Charlie Brown. The presentation is made up of little moments from Valentine’s Day to baseball season. Charlie Brown goes from wild optimism to utter despair.
