Lake Anna light display
The City of Barberton will host a display of multi-colored holiday lights Nov. 30 as part of the annual Lake Anna Holiday Light Display. The official lighting ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. at the Lake Anna Park gazebo. This event is held in conjunction with Barberton’s annual Christmas Walk. Angelic Arctic Christmas
An “Angelic Arctic Christmas” will be featured at Christmas at the Hollow at Quail Hollow Park, 13480 Congress Lake Ave., from 5 to 9 p.m. Dec. 5-7 at the former H.B. Stewart Manor House. Enjoy a self-guided tour through the decorated 40-room home adorned with angelic backdrops with hints of the arctic with 20 decorated trees. Visit with Santa and listen to seasonal music each night presented by local choirs. Take a festive wilderness wagon ride and roast marshmallows at a warming fire while singing Christmas Carols. St. Pet’s Day Christmas
The 15th Annual Celtic Club St. Pet's Day Christmas will take place Dec. 6 at St. Francis De Sales School, 4009 Manchester Road, Coventry Township. The event for the students will include a talk by Dr. Jarrod Tudor, dean of the University of Akron's LeBron James Family Foundation College of Education, and a performance of traditional Christmas music by Celtic Rush. Members of the Coventry, Green and New Franklin Fire Departments will pass out Christmas items to the students. The students will collect pet food which will be donated to One of A Kind Pet Rescue which will be bringing rescue pets to socialize with the students.
