The Jackson Trustees set dates and times for two zoning hearings during their regular April meeting. The first hearing is for 6 p.m., May 12 for zoning text amendments.
The second hearing is for a request for revisions to a R-3 Planned Unit Development (PUD) for The Hermitage. It is set for 6:15 p.m., May 12. The request is to separate a previously approved PUD into two separate PUD's.
The first revision is for 52.22 acres on the north side of Everhard Road with 76 single family lots and 12 condo units (originally approved for 61 single family lots and 38 condos). The second consists of 16.45 acres on the south side of Everhard Road with five lots and 22 condo units (originally approved for five single family lots and 27 condos).
The zoning revision request is being made by property owners, Omega Investment Properties, LLC and CW Vail, LLC.
In other business April 28, trustees:
- Went into executive session to discuss several matters including public works department, police and fire personnel (appointment/employment/compensation) and interview seasonal leased park maintenance worker applicant. They also met to prepare for and review negotiations or bargaining sessions with public employees concerning their compensation or other terms and conditions of their employment and to consider confidential information related to economic development. No action taken.
- Accepted sponsorship donations to the 2015 Community Celebration as follows: $250 from Cee-B-Glass, Inc. and $1,000 from Re/Max Edge Realty.
- Accepted a $100 donation to the Parks from Jackson Alumni Soccer.
The next regular meeting of the Jackson Township Trustees is scheduled for 5 p.m., May 12 at the Township Hall.
