- Coventry senior bowler Karlee Evans was named Portage Trail Conference Player of the Year, while teammates Kayla Jackson (First Team), Haley Boatwright and Kailee Evans (Second Team) also received all-league recognition.

- Grace Reilly led all scorers with 23 points as Mogadore fell 64-61 to Ashland Mapleton in a Creston Division IV district basketball final.

- Chris Doyle (113 pounds) was the top finisher for Green at the Division I state wrestling tournament, placing seventh.

- Coventry boys basketball opened postseason play by avenging an earlier loss to Northwest. The Comets topped the Indians behind 20 points from sophomore guard Conner Wess and a double-double from sophomore center Bryce Hargrove (16 points, 10 rebounds).

- Kent State freshman Morgan Estes (Green) placed sixth in the pole vault at the Mid-American Conference indoor track and field championships as the Golden Flashes won their third consecutive MAC title.

- Senior forward Carson Corle led Green with 17 points as the Bulldogs upset sixth-seeded Austintown Fitch in a Copley Division I sectional basketball final.

- Coventry junior Zach Lake lost in the second round of the consolation bracket at the Division II state wrestling tournament. Lake was the lone representative for the Comets in Columbus.

- Senior forward Victor Dorsey led Springfield with 23 points in a sectional tournament basketball loss to Norton.

- Senior diver Amy Dorow (Lake) was part of the University of Akron women’s swimming and diving team’s effort as the Zips won the first Mid-American Conference championship in program history.

- Sophomore guard Zeddie Pollock made four 3-pointers and led Mogadore with 16 points in the Wildcats’ 55-52 loss to Garfield Heights Trinity in a Barberton Division IV district basketball final.

- Freshman center Dan Fanelly (Green) posted 12 points and six rebounds to help the Wooster Fighting Scots win the North Coast Athletic Conference basketball title with a 71-63 decision over Wittenberg. The Scots are 25-3 on the season.

- A 46-36 loss to Smithville ended the season for the Manchester girls basketball team in the semifinal round of the Wooster Division III district tournament.
