Stark County Common Pleas Judge Taryn Health scheduled a pretrial hearing for Monday to discuss a new court date.
A judge declared a mistrial Friday in the trial of a sports training instructor accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl while helping her at his conditioning facility.
The jury said it was deadlocked and unable to reach a unanimous decision in the case.
Bradford L. Dean, 33, head performance coach at SWAT in Jackson Township, was accused of fondling the 16-year-old while she performed stretching exercises Feb. 19.
Dean denied the allegation. He was charged with sexual battery, a third-degree felony.
The jury heard two days of testimony, deliberating Thursday and Friday before deadlocking.
