Barbara Burns professes to be the “non-diet” dietitian, believing instead it is more important to promote and adapt a healthy lifestyle. For healthier living, she balances eating right, exercise and just the right kind of fun! Her personal and professional focus has been to transform how we feed our kids and teens. As the Director of Child Nutrition Services at the Carrollton Exempted Village School District she now has the pleasure of doing this one school lunch at a time!

The Social Security Administration just released its top 1,000 baby names of 2011.

Many of the same names top the list again this year for baby boys and girls. If I had a dollar for every Sophia, Isabella and Emma; or every Jacob, Jayden and Noah we knew, my children would definitely have a lot more padding in their college funds. Here are the Top 10 for 2011:

BOYS

1. Jacob

2. Mason

3. William

4. Jayden

5. Noah

6. Michael

7. Ethan

8. Alexander

9. Aiden

10. Daniel

GIRLS

1. Sophia

2. Isabella

3. Emma

4. Olivia

5. Ava

6. Emily

7. Abigail

8. Madison

9. Mia

10. Chloe

And while some people seek out popular names, my husband and I intentionally stayed away from them for our children, Zander and Adalyn Rae. I think the trending list is much more interesting, also released by the Social Security Administration on Monday with names, such as Archer and Nico for boys; and Mila, Raelynn and Nylah for girls. Here's the trendy Top 10:

BOYS

1. Brantley

2. Iker

3. Maximiliano

4. Zaiden

5. Kamden

6. Barrett

7. Archer

8. Declan

9. Atticus

10. Nico

GIRLS

1. Briella

2. Angelique

3. Aria

4. Mila

5. Elsie

6. Nylah

7. Raelynn

8. Brynlee

9. Olive

10. June
