According to a new poll conducted by CNN/ORC, President Barack Obama’s disapproval ratings have hit a new high at 55 percent. The poll also found that only 36 percent of people approve of Obama’s handling of the economy. Obama did, however, have good numbers in likeability: about 80 percent said he was likeable.

"The two U.S. nationals accused of spying have not been released and their attorneys' requests for setting bail is being considered." - Court statement in Iran about the two U.S. hikers currently jailed on spying charges. There were signs Tuesday that the men already had been cleared for bail after President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said they would be released, but their fate is still up in the air.
