    More than 65 juried antique dealers from around the country will display and sell their vintage wares in a giant tent during the Zoar Harvest Festival, happening from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday in historic Zoar Village, south of Canton. Visitors will find an array of artists and crafters, live music, food, children’s activities and tours of historical buildings and museums with costumed demonstrators. Admission is $7 for ages 13 and older (good both days) and free for ages 12 and younger.
    The cast of “Trumpet in the Land” will perform “Noah From A-Z,” a fun stage version of the Noah’s Ark story for all ages, at 10 a.m. Saturday and Aug. 11 at Schoenbrunn Amphitheater in New Philadelphia. Tickets, $12 for 13 and older and $6 for 12 and under, may be ordered at 330-339-1132. The Noah family and the animals will visit with children after the show.

    Steve Earle & the Dukes will appear in concert at 8 p.m. Wednesday at The Kent Stage in downtown Kent. Earle’s latest album, “I’ll Never Get Out of This World Alive,” is his 14th. Tickets, $33, are on sale at www.showclix.com. The show is for ages 18 and older.
    Comedy for Dummies
    Ventriloquist-comedienne Lynn Trefzger will take a trunk full of zany characters with her to the stage of downtown Massillon’s Lions Lincoln Theatre on Aug. 10 at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students.
    The beloved family musical “Annie” is being presented through Aug. 12 at Akron’s Weathervane Community Theatre. Shows are at 7:30 p.m. Friday, 3:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, and 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.     The Cab, an alternative pop-rock band from Las Vegas, will appear in concert Thursday at The Auricle at 601 Cleveland Ave. NW in Canton. Parachute will open the 8 p.m. show. Advance tickets are $15 at www.ticketwebcom.
    Auditions Tuesday for Rocky Horror
    The North Canton Playhouse will hold auditions for its production of “The Rocky Horror Show” 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the youth theatre, 1210 S. Main St.
    Ages 16 to adult can audition. Those auditioning should be prepared to sing 32 bars only of a music theatre genre song. There will also be cold readings and a light dance audition. For information call 330-494-1613 or email marci@northcantonplayhouse.com.

    Massillon Cable TV, the Massillon Museum and the Downtown Massillon Association is sponsoring this year’s Fun Fest 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 11 in downtown Massillon.
    The family-friendly event is free but some activities have a small fee. There will be games, story times, prizes, face painting, contests, art projects, dancing, crafts, petting zoo and more. A free film will be presented at the Lions Lincoln Theatre at 2 p.m. For information call 330-833-4061.
    The Ananda Center for the Arts is looking for dancers, art vendors, clowns, stilt walkers and similar entertainers for its ArtSyrcus event Aug. 18.

    Local improv-comedy troupe Scared Scriptless will present a two-hour show titled “This is NOT Football!” at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Kathleen Howland Theatre at 324 Cleveland Ave. NW in Canton. Admission is $8. Ages 18 and over are welcome.
    Silver Star Youth Theatre will present “The Return to Pirate’s Lagoon,” an interactive theatrical show for kids and families followed by a treasure hunt, at noon Aug. 11 at Stark Parks’ Exploration Gateway at 5712 12th St. NW in Perry Township. Guests are asked to bring their own blanket or lawn chair, and everyone is encouraged to wear pirate costumes. Baked goods will be available.     The Akron-based tribute band Broken Roads works closely to replicate the sound and look of country band Rascal Flatts. The band will put on a free outdoor concert at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 10 at Fourth Street and Cleveland Avenue NW in Canton. Expect to hear “Bless the Broken Road,” “Life is a Highway” and many more Rascal Flatts hits. Beer and food will be available. Those attending are urged to bring lawn chairs. The concert is presented by the Canton Development Partnership.
    Canton’s Matt Corey and his band will play their annual Hall of Fame weekend blowout show Saturday at Loby’s Bar & Grille at 4736 Hills and Dales Road NW in Jackson Township. They will perform from 6 to 9 p.m. on Loby’s back patio, then the show will move inside until midnight. Ages 21 and older are welcome.
    The North Canton Playhouse will present “The Little Mermaid Jr.,” a youth production of the much-loved Disney musical, Thursday through Aug. 26 on the Playhouse Mainstage at Hoover High School at 525 Seventh St. NE. Lexi Johnson (above) has the title role. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 2:30 p.m. Sunday. (No performance on Aug. 24.)
