MAGIC IN THE SKY
We don’t want to totally give away the feat that magician Michael Voltagio (a Canton City Police officer by day) has planned for tonight at First Friday, but it involves a crane, a straitjacket and Houdini. The free performance will happen at 6:30 at Market Square (formerly the Kresge lot). Voltagio will put on a full-length show at the Palace Theatre on Aug. 17.
Tonight from 6 to 10, First Friday celebrants are invited to check out the original women’s creations by local fashion designer Colette Wasdahl, as well as vintage garments, at her boutique on the second floor of Elemental Arts at 236 Walnut Ave. NE.
