  • The jury in the aggravated murder trial of Brogan Rafferty deliberated all day Monday without reaching a verdict.
The jurors are scheduled to resume their discussions Tuesday in Summit County Common Pleas Court.
Rafferty, 17, of Stow, faces a 25-count indictment, including multiple counts of aggravated murder, kidnapping and aggravated robbery, plus numerous specifications.
Prosecutors said he helped Richard J. Beasley, 53, of Akron, lure three victims to rural Noble County with promises of farm work in 2011.
Three men were killed in the scheme, and another man survived being shot.
Rafferty denied shooting any of the victims, but admitted to digging their graves and helping Beasley in other ways.
The defense said Beasley manipulated Rafferty, who was 16 when the killings happened, but prosecutors said the teen was a willing accomplice.
The jury began deliberating Thursday afternoon and continued all day Friday before taking a break for the weekend and returning to the courthouse Monday.
