This time of year, it’s easy to want to treat yourself to a festive holiday beverage.

But heads up, those decadent hot and cold treats pack a lot more than good cheer. Many are chock full of calories, fat, sugar and carbs.

We did some digging and found eight of the worst culprits.

Dairy Queen Candy Cane Chill Blizzard (19 ounces). All we can say about this Blizzard of the Month flavor is OMG:  Peppermint candy pieces, choco chunks and vanilla soft serve combine to tip the scale at a whopping 1,170 calories, 34 grams of fat and 194 grams of carbohydrates. The calorie count is about half of what many adults should have for an entire day!

Starbucks Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha (Grande size). Yummy, yes. But this luscious elixir made with whole milk and whipped cream boasts 550 calories and 78 grams of carbohydrates.

Dunkin' Donuts Mint Hot Chocolate (large). When the weather outside is frightful, a minty hot chocolate hits the spot. Also frightful is this drink’s 420 calories and 13 grams of fat.

Chick-fil-A Peppermint Chocolate Chip Milkshake (20-ounce large). Who doesn’t need a pick-me-up after a full day of shopping? But this treat’s nutritional information may bring you down: It has a jaw-dropping 930 calories and 31 grams of fat.

McDonald’s McCafé Frappé Caramel (large). Drink enough of these, and you may have to borrow Santa’s suit. Rich caramel and coffee are blended with ice, then topped with whipped cream and a swirl of caramel. The not-so-jolly news: 680 calories and 29 grams of fat.

Starbucks Eggnog Latte (grande). Eggnog fans will savor this coffee infused with classic holiday flavor. They may not relish its 470 calories and 22 grams fat.

Dunkin' Donuts Gingerbread Latte (large). Made with whole milk, this sweet and nostalgic winter warmer is loaded with 440 calories and 68 grams of sugar.

Panera Bread Frozen Peppermint Mocha (18.25 ounces). This chilly confection’s tasty ingredients include mocha mint syrup, chocolate syrup and whipped cream. At 710 calories and 18 grams of fat, you may be left feeling cold. And pudgy.
