  • Three businesses cited for underage alcohol sales

  • Perry Township Police Chief Michael Pomesky said in a news release that police arrested the employees at three businesses who illegally sold alcohol to individuals under the age of 21.

  • Township police say three business failed the department’s “compliance check” Friday that tested who was selling alcohol to underage people.
    Police Chief Michael Pomesky said in a news release that police arrested the three employees who illegally sold alcohol to individuals under the age of 21. They were employed at:
    • Michael D’s at 1411 Whipple Ave. NW, Suite B;
    • Your Sport’s Bar at 6195 Navarre Road SW;
    • Perry Drive Thru at 5824 Navarre Road SW.
    The chief said the department also cited the liquor permits of the three businesses.
    Perry police conducted the compliance check with the Ohio Investigative Unit.
