  • Jerry Williams, of "Williams Cattle Company" in Green, recently welcomed three little miracles. On April 3, one of his Polled Hereford cows gave birth to triplets – two heifers and one bull.
“My father has had many twins,” Jerry Williams’ daughter Christina Via wrote in an email. “A few years ago, he had a calving year  with "three sets of twins"... and all of them lived.”
This marks the first time that any of Jerry Williams’ cows has had triplets.
Dr. Jeff Williams, Jerry Williams’ son, is vet in Kinsman. Dr. Williams
took two of the calves to his farm to bottle feed them and help to nurture them to health.
Jerry Williams has been farming and raising Hereford cattle and
crossbred beef cattle on his farm since 1954.
In January, Jerry Williams celebrated his 84th birthday.
