John Trunk was selected as the superintendent of the County of Summit Developmental Disabilities Board (Summit DD)
John Trunk was selected as the superintendent of the County of Summit Developmental Disabilities Board (Summit DD), a release issued by the organization stated.
Trunk, who currently serves as superintendent for the Lucas County DD, will succeed Superintendent Thomas Armstrong who will retire from the Summit DD in November.
“The Board is committed to ensuring a smooth transition for both Summit and Lucas counties and we’re working with Tom (Armstrong) to make sure that happens,” Summit DD Board President Randy Briggs said in the release. “During his tenure, Tom has accomplished tremendous outcomes for citizens of all abilities and we’re grateful that he will make this transition seamless.”
The details of Trunk’s new contract have not been finalized.
