  • Tony and Theresa Walden, the owners of Walden's Barbershop, are pleased to welcome barber Lori Kinsley to their 1476 Edison St. barber shop.
“We've known Lori for years,” said Tony who opened Walden's Barbershop in Hartville with Theresa in 1987.
“We worked together a long time ago,” said Lori, a 1988 Lake graduate.
Lori attended the Akron Barber College. She said her aunt, cousin and mother were beauticians. She liked the profession, but decided to be different and enter barber college.
“I like cutting men's hair,” said Lori, adding she often cuts children's hair. “I love kids.”
Lori started working at Walden's Barber Shop Aug. 3. But she has a long history in the community. Her parents are Lowell and the late Linda Kinsley. Her grandfather, Jim Kinsley, served the community as a township trustee.
“We're happy to have Lori with us,” said Theresa, who said she enjoys being a part of the Hartville community. “In a barbershop, we get to know our customers. It's a great place to be.”
    Walden's Barbershop is open Tuesdays through Fridays, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Saturdays 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. For more information call the barbershop at 330-877-8880.
