Trending topic: Jon Stewart, Bill O’Reilly debate Common
Jon Stewart and Bill O’Reilly debated on “The O’Reilly Factor” last night about the invitation extended to rapper Common for the White House poetry slam on May 11, which O’Reilly thought was “inappropriate" because of lyrics from a song that O'Reilly said supports people who kill cops. Stewart said the lyrics were about someone being "unjustly convicted," and he said the Common song is similiar to songs by Bono, Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen.
