  • OHSAA official to speak at HOF Luncheon Club

  • Among Deborah Moore’s duties to oversee the office’s eligibility department is to provide interpretations of the OHSAA Bylaws and Constitution for member school administrators and make rulings on student eligibility issues.

  • Deborah Moore, the associate commissioner of the Ohio High School Athletic Association, will be the guest speaker at the Pro Football Hall of Fame Luncheon Club on Monday at Tozzi’s on 12th. Lunch will be served at 11 a.m., followed by the program at 12:10.
    A member of the OHSAA staff since 1989, Moore served as an assistant commissioner before being promoted to associate commissioner for Eligibility in 2008.
    Among Moore’s duties to oversee the office’s eligibility department is to provide interpretations of the OHSAA Bylaws and Constitution for member school administrators and make rulings on student eligibility issues.
    Moore also is the office’s chief administrator for volleyball, field hockey, gymnastics and swimming and diving.
    Ashland head football coach Lee Owens will be the club’s next speaker March 4.
