A jewelry store in downtown Louisville is robbed by two men who used pepper spray to assault employees.
Police are searching for two men who robbed Rae’s Jewelry on Tuesday morning after threatening to shoot employees.
The men used a pepper spray to assault two employees of the jewelry store at 100 E. Main St.
“I don’t know if they saw a weapon (firearm), I think it was implied,” police Lt. Jim Fenstemaker said.
Police said the robbers were black males.
One is about 6 feet 2 inches tall, about 175 pounds, and wore a red, white and blue Chicago Bulls coat and matching blue pants with Timberland style boots.
The second is about 5 feet 9 inches tall, 195 pounds, and wore a light colored Nautica jacket and gray sweat pants. He was missing a front tooth and had light discolored skin on his face.
