A woman who broke into a local popular Halloween attraction to steal copper wire surprised an employee who caught her. She promptly blasted him with pepper spray and ran away.
When a woman broke into the Factory of Terror haunted attraction on Mahoning Road NE to steal copper Friday morning, she was confronted by a very tall employee.
Police reports said she promptly blasted him with pepper spray and ran away.
At 6 feet, 7 inches tall and 280 pounds, the man has played “Chainsaw,”a bloody zombie-like character with a chainsaw, for the popular local Halloween-time attraction, according to an article printed in The Repository on Oct. 23, 2011. The article listed that Halloween as his 10th season as a “professional intimidator.”
The woman who entered the business at 4125 Mahoning Rd. NE at 9:47 a.m. Friday was in the process of stealing copper wire when he stopped her.
The police reports said that when he confronted her, she grabbed her can of pepper spray and blasted him. The woman ran to a waiting vehicle outside the business and sped away.
The reports show she made off with about $100 in copper.
The extent of his injuries was not listed.
