Magnolia police arrested a Sandy Township man and took his marijuana plants.
A township man was arrested at his home Wednesday afternoon when Magnolia police found him with nine marijuana plants in his car and items used to grow them.
Oliver V. Ingledue, 67, of 7435 Broadford St. SE, was arrested at 1:15 p.m. on felony charges of illegal cultivation of marijuana and marijuana possession, Stark County Jail records said.
Police seized from his car potted marijuana plants that were about 5 and 6 inches tall, a jug used to transport water, potting soil, fertilizer, gardening tools and deer repellent, the jail records said.
He was jailed and then released on his own recognizance pending a court hearing, Stark County Court records show.
