  • ATHENS ACOUSTIC TRIO
     The Ridges, an acoustic folk-rock trio from Athens, Ohio, with rich vocal harmonies and a darkly romantic feel, will appear in concert at 7:30 tonight at the Massillon Museum, as part of the Rhythms series. Tickets, $15, will be available at the door. Wine will be available.

    AT THE HOWLAND
    The Vietnam War is seen through the eyes of six women who served in the dramatic play “A Piece of My Heart,” being presented this weekend by the Canal Fulton Players at the Kathleen Howland Theatre at 324 Cleveland Ave. NW in downtown Canton. Seen here in rehearsal are cast members Sharon Nolan, Megan Valentino and Amlee Jarsenski. Shows are at 8 p.m. today and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $5 for veterans. The play is recommended for mature audiences only.

    LOVE SHACK, BABY!
    At 9 tonight, The B-52’s will take their rollicking dance music to the Great American Ribs Cook-Off and Music Festival at Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica in Cleveland’s Flats. Other concert headliners at the event, which runs through Monday, are Todd Rundgren, 9 p.m. Saturday; Staind, 9 p.m. Sunday; The Wailers, 2 p.m. Monday; and Michael Stanley & the Resonators, 6 p.m. Monday. Concerts are included in the admission price of $8 ($5 with a discount coupon from Marc’s). Children 12 and under are free.

    ACOUSTIC SOUNDS
    Two bands that blend old and new folk styles, with adept picking and solid vocal harmonies, will perform Saturday at Jupiter Studios at 346 E. Main St. in downtown Alliance. Rock Salt & Nails will open the show at 7 p.m. followed by Red Dux. Admission is $5.

    HIP HOP HOORAY
    Rapper-crooner Drake, whose hits include “Find Your Love,” “Forever” and “Best I Ever Had,” will kick off the summer concert season at Blossom Music Center on Monday. The 7 p.m. concert also will include performances by Waka Waka Flame, J. Cole, Meek Mill and 2 Chainz. Tickets, $35.75 to $95.75, are on sale at Ticketmaster.

    COUNTRY TRIPLE BILL
    Lady Antebellum, whose country hits include “Need You Now,” “American Honey” and “We Owned the Night,” will appear in concert June 1 at Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls. The 7 p.m. show also will feature Darius Rucker and Thompson Square. Tickets, $29.50 to $59, are on sale at Ticketmaster.

    CHILI SPICE
    Freshly inducted into the Rock ’n’ Roll Hall of Fame, the Red Hot Chili Peppers will return to Cleveland for an 8 p.m. June 2 concert at Quicken Loans Arena. Tickets are $38.50 to $58.80 at www.theqarena.com, and Discount Drug Mart stores.

    The Children and Youth Choirs of A Chorus For a Cause will perform a concert titled “Stories” at 7 p.m. June 2 at St. Paul’s Church at 241 S. Main St. in North Canton. Directed by Christine Allison, the choirs will present a diverse, fun-themed program. Admission is $5 for adults and $1 for children.
