  • Master Clinical Massage Therapist Ken Boyce has joined the full-time professional staff at Celebration Day Spa in Canton. Boyce, an Illinois native, is only one of 200 massage therapists in the country with masters-level training.
Boyce spent the last two years building and retaining an active client list at a spa in Naperville, Ill. Prior to that, he earned internship experience at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, where he worked with patients suffering from a wide variety of musculoskeletal and orthopedic issues, including brain and spinal-cord injuries, cancer, stroke damage and knee replacement.
“I chose this position in Ohio because it’s a great fit,” Boyce said. “We offer a wide range of massage techniques that allow me to focus on the whole body rather than treating one muscle at a time. Now I get to work with people ranging in need from deep-tissue and prenatal massage to reflexology, sports massage, advanced strain, counterstrain methods and more.”
A promoter of whole-body health, wellness and relaxation, Boyce looks forward to helping clients work through chronic pain.
Managing esthetician and spa owner Lee Ann Danner is happy to add Boyce to her staff.
“My existing team of certified professionals is used to providing a high level of care, and Ken’s expertise is … another strength,” Danner said.
