    For “Seuss-Talation,” the exhibition opening from 6 to 10 tonight at Translations Art Gallery at 331 Cleveland Ave. NW in downtown Canton, 22 artists were asked to interpret a Dr. Seuss book. Seen here are “Fox and Socks” by Matthew Doubek and “Mixed Memes” by Lynn Digby. The show is on display through March 30. Gallery hours are noon to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and noon to 5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
    Fresh from its winter concert tour, Akron-based rock band Maid Myriad will appear tonight at the Auricle at 601 Cleveland Ave. NW in downtown Canton. Ashes of the Damned will open the show. Doors open at 7. Admission is $8 for ages 21 and older, $10 for 20 and younger.
    In celebration of tonight’s grand opening of The Hub — the art gallery and studios at 336 Sixth St. NW in downtown Canton — the first 48 people in the door after 6 p.m. will receive a limited-edition print by Robbie Q. He is one of the featured artists at the gallery, along with Tim Carmany, Erin Mulligan and Kait Beck.
    E.B., the Easter Bunny’s teenage son, follows his rock ‘n’ roll dreams to Hollywood in the animated family comedy “Hop,” which will be shown at 7:30 tonight at the Palace Theatre in downtown Canton. Admission is free.
    Just in time for First Friday, local watercolorist Ted Lawson is displaying his City Lights series of paintings at 2nd April Galerie at 324 Cleveland Ave. NW in downtown Canton.
    Billy Ludwig’s Gallery
    Hot-selling items on the Canton Arts District gallery scene are the posters at Billy Ludwig’s Thirteenth Floor Gallery at 310 Fourth St. NW. These designs and many others, created by Ludwig through his Impale Design company, are printed digitally on card stock and most measure 11x17 or 11x14. They are priced at $10 apiece or buy two, get two free. Gallery hours are noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
