Starting April 19, the intersection of Nimisila Road and Main Street will become a four-way stop.
Be prepared to stop.
On Friday, the intersection of Nimisila Road and Main Street in Green will be converted from a traffic signal to a four-way stop until a new signal can be installed.
According to a release issued by the city today, the current traffic light is sagging too low with the potential that a truck could hit it. To ensure the safety of the traveling public, the intersection will be converted to a four-way stop with a red flashing light.
This summer, The Green Service Department will install a new signal on a mast arm.
