  • Bridgestone belongs to Tiger Woods.
For the eighth time, Woods walked away as the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational champion. It marked his first title at the invitational since 2009.
Woods shot 15-under and finished seven strokes ahead of defending champion Keegan Bradley and Henrik Stenson.
Since Friday’s dominating performance Friday, Bridgestone was Woods’ to lose. That day,  he shot 9-under parr to match a course record 61. His even-par 70 Sunday was his worst round of the weekend, but his big lead was never in jeopardy.
This win marks Woods’ 79th career PGA Tour title. He is three shy of the all-time tour title record of 82 held by Sam Snead.
He also assured himself of a 10th season with at least five tour titles.
