Pro Football Hall of Fame will have a Community Celebration Day in September.
If you think this weekend completes the celebration for the 50th anniversary of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, wait. There is more.
The Hall will host a Community Celebration Day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 7 at the Pro Football Hall of Fame, at 2121 George Halas Drive NW.
That day is the actual 50th anniversary of the Hall’s original opening — Sept. 7, 1963.
Hall of Famers participating in the Community Celebration Day include: Joe DeLamielleure, Leroy Kelly and Paul Warfield. They will host a roundtable discussion for fans with meet and greet opportunities immediately following the session.
Also planned are a special time-capsule exhibit display commemorating the golden anniversary and a variety of family activities, including inflatables, face painting, balloon artists, the Class of 2013 Queen and Court and fun-filled crafts for kids on the Outside on the FieldTurf and in the event tent on the Hall of Fame Plaza.

All guests will receive 50 percent off admission to the Hall.
Every 50th customer will receive a special football prize.
Visitors whose birthday is Sept. 7 will get a $25 gift card to spend in the Hall of Fame store.
Those born on Sept. 7, 1963, will receive a $50 gift card to the Hall of Fame store.
The first 1,000 people to visit the museum that day will receive a 50th Anniversary Pro Football Hall of Fame commemorative Panini patch card.
