A 21-year-old Massillon man has been indicted on a federal bank robbery charge in connection with a heist at Charter One Bank.
Alexander D. Love is accused of robbing the bank at 54 Federal Ave. NE in January. The robbery was investigated by Massillon police and the FBI’s Stark County office.
Love was arrested about two hours after police say he robbed the bank.
According to authorities, Love had entered the bank around 1:50 p.m. and handed a note to one of the tellers. The note said that if money was given to him, nobody would get hurt.
No weapon were shown, according to authorities. Police tracked the vehicle Love left in and made the arrest.
