  • Ohio Highway Patrol troopers continued to search Thursday for the driver of a car that ran from a crash after striking another car and injuring a teenage boy late Wednesday night.
Dakota S. Schreffler, 17, of Clinton was driving a red 2012 Nissan Sentra north on High Mill Avenue NW at 10:46 p.m. when a gray 2012 Chevrolet Cruze heading west on Mount Pleasant Street failed to stop for a stop sign, said Lt. William Weirtz of the patrol’s Canton post.
    The vehicles collided.
The driver of the Cruze ran from the scene and Schreffler was taken by Jackson Township firefighter-paramedics to Akron General Hospital, Weirtz said.
Schreffler was treated for minor injuries and then released.
    The crash remains under investigation.
Anyone with information about the crash or the missing driver may call troopers at 330-433-6200.
