Stark County officials are taking a close look at the recently vacated Frank T. Bow building. A possible plan calls for relocating four county agencies to the site.
Stark County officials may be interested in obtaining or using the recently vacated Frank T. Bow building.
This week, Rick Flory, the county’s budget and property manager, asked the county Board of Elections if they’d be interested in moving. The plan would move all offices housed at 221 Third Street NE — elections board, records center and regional planning — as well as the Information technology department to the Bow site.
If those agencies are interested, the county may request an architect’s evaluation of the former Bow federal building to determine if renovations are feasible.
The Board of Elections said it would be interested in such a move.
