  • A township couple was arrested after, police say, they robbed two men at gunpoint of $21 and credit cards.
Jillian C. Sopko, 21, of 5180 Fulton Dr. NW, and Ryan A. Boylan, 19, of 3196 Billingsgate Cir. NW, were arrested at 1:35 a.m. Thursday at Sopko’s home, Stark County Jail records said.
They were accused of having met with two men in the 7900 block of Windy Lane Street NW, where they pointed guns at the men and demanded money, the jail records said.
Police say they made off with cash from both men and a wallet belonging to one of the men. Jail records listed the money at $21.
The couple reportedly drove away in Sopko’s white 2003 Jeep Liberty. Police found them at her home.
Each was jailed on two first-degree felony charges of aggravated robbery. The charge holds a maximum sentence upon conviction of 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine.
